Frederick “Rick” O’Reilly started as an electrician in 1981 in Houston, Texas. He worked there for three years and was transferred with the company (Houston Metro Electric) to the east coast of southern Florida.

He worked for another ten years in Southern Florida on such projects as Wackenhut Security International Headquarters and Motorola’s National Headquarters along with the five star hotel, Ocean Grand, among other projects. 

He then moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he was the foreman for Hirsch Electric and completed numerous commercial jobs for seven years. These jobs include the award winning Baltimore Public Library’s Children’s Theater and Learning Center and the award winning Oprezza Offices with all exposed electrical work. 

He then moved to Seaford, Delaware where he got his Master’s license for Maryland and Delaware and started his own company, O’Reilly Electric LLC.  

Some of the jobs he has completed in the last five years include: Fastenal Building in Milford and Seaford, Delaware and Allen’s Family Foods Management Information Systems Building located in Seaford, Delaware. Also completed were several doctors’ offices including x-ray rooms, two Genesis Health Care remodels located in Seaford, Delaware and Easton, Maryland along with numerous restaurants, liquor stores and two Rite-Aid remodels located in Seaford, Delaware and Salisbury, Maryland. He completed the Media-Com 400 amp back-up generator, custom homes, custom remodels, hot-tubs, swimming pools, panel upgrades, out building power installation and many more. 

O’Reilly Electric became an LLC in April of 2009

O’Reilly Electric LLC takes time for each customer to answer and explain any questions they may have. Customers respond that O’Reilly Electric LLC is conscientious and completes their work in a timely manner. We are professional. Customer satisfaction is very important to us. 

The company is a member of the National Fire Protection Agency, Seaford Chamber of Commerce and the Rehoboth-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce in Delaware. 

O’Reilly Electric LLC contributes money monthly to the Smile Train and Plan USA, where they send money to help a little kid in Uganda. Throughout the year, they make other donations such as Saint Joseph’s Fund, World Wildlife Fund and Girls Scouts of America, among others.
